We are recruiting for a dynamic Marketing and Communications Officer to support the growth and visibility of a suite of educational programmes, including a flagship national initiative. You will play a key part in inspiring the next generation of space scientists and engineers by strengthening engagement and elevating the impact of the company’s educational mission. £23.66 per hour Part time 21 hours per week Working days Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Temporary contract to start in January to end of March Duties and responsibilities: Develop and deliver effective marketing strategies and campaigns Identify and leverage opportunities for promoting programmes through paid and unpaid channels Manage design and content needs across the academy, ensuring brand consistency Create and manage multi-channel content including website pages, social media posts, blogs, newsletters, videos, and photography Write and disseminate internal and external communications, such as press releases, articles, and stakeholder reports Plan, create, and schedule social media content across all platforms Oversee audio/visual content creation and ensure consent and proper filing of imagery Create and maintain a CRM and online marketing system to target specific audiences and expand school engagement Optimise the academy’s online visibility across web, social media, and digital platforms Develop and maintain relationships with schools, industry partners, academia, government, and international contacts, using appropriate communication styles for each audience Identify relevant events for the company’s participation and manage related logistics Assist with planning and content creation for symposiums and other key events Work closely with education, operations, venue hire, marketing & events, design, and teaching teams to produce appropriate content and support project delivery Support the General Manager by gathering data for stakeholder reporting Proofread materials to maintain brand and style consistency Manage merchandise stock and identify opportunities for use
