Overview
Team Lead, Fulfillment Centre, All Process paths. You will ensure trained people have their needs addressed so they can focus on their jobs and that Amazon policies, including attendance tracking, are implemented and administered fairly and consistently. This role includes motivating, coaching, reporting, and providing feedback on associates’ performance—productivity, quality, and safety—to achieve or exceed Amazon expectations. The Team Lead will address discipline and/or performance issues for FC Associates, including up to termination, and work with third-party delivery providers to ensure Amazon standards are met per service contracts.
Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end operations on a daily basis for one large site, including inbound and outbound operations, coordinating physical and virtual workflows, and ensuring orders and materials flow to ship on time to meet customer delivery promises.
* Drive performance management of team members; prepare and implement training and development plans for associates.
* Continuously improve the delivery process to sustain higher levels of delivery performance.
* Conduct 4M and 5S audits for the delivery station daily.
* Stand-in for Area Manager; manage day and night shift operations.
* Consolidate information from multiple sources to determine daily load plan requirements and adjust and execute accordingly.
* Monitor system-generated routing solutions and provide viable routing options; make decisions on deliveries outside the normal routing matrix.
* Lead the order batching strategy to maximize efficiency while protecting customer experience.
* Allocate labor from various sources, lead meetings, and direct/assign job duties for FC Associates.
* Perform in-depth problem-solving across areas to ensure successful and continuous operations.
* Train, audit, and support FC Associates to perform Amazon standard operating procedures using equipment and software; ensure FC Associates have proper tools and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
* Communicate with internal and external suppliers using all available channels; report and escalate systemic issues to management in a timely manner.
* Participate in initiatives to ensure Safety and Operational Excellence; identify, address, and resolve safety hazards within the Fulfillment Center.
* Understand processes and daily goals; make recommendations to improve performance.
* Perform administrative duties and other functions as determined by management; support and work in all areas of the Fulfillment Center as required; support other spokes/fulfillment centers as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor’s degree
* Speak, write, and read fluently in English
* Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

* Experience in an operational role
