Your new role
As an Accounts & Audit Senior, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality services to a diverse client base, including SMEs and limitedpanies. This is a varied positionbining accounts preparation, audit work, and advisory services, making it ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience and take on new challenges.You’ll be responsible for:
1. Preparing statutory and annual accounts from client records.
2. Drafting business taxputations and supporting year-end accounting files.
3. Assisting in audit planning and execution, from risk assessment topletion.
4. Reviewing junior staff work, providing guidance, and mentoring trainees.
5. Preparing management letters and well-structured audit reports.
6. Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering proactive advice.
What you'll need to succeed
7. ACA/ACCA qualified (recently qualified or equivalent).
8. Practical experience in public practice, ideally with exposure to audits.
9. Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
10. Proficiency in cloud accounting packages (Xero preferred), QuickBooks, Sage L50, IRIS, and Microsoft Office.
11. Excellentmunication skills and ability to manage client expectations.
12. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
