Resource Centre and Community Based Day Opportunities
85 per hour
Casual opportunities available- Monday to Friday- 9am-16pm
Generous Holidays: 33 days of annual leave (including eight days statutory bank holidays).
20% Bank Holiday allowance, 50% for key dates over Christmas.
Training & development: Earn money while you get a fully funded Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
You will be supporting adults in our 1-1 Service to take part in a variety of activities that help them to learn new skills, socialise and potentially work towards employment. Some of these activities are facilitated in our busy building where we run our own canteen and café. You will require some experience in planning and facilitating sessions with meaningful outcomes for learning disabled adults with a range of abilities. You will need competent computer skills to plan and record.
We also access a timetable of community-based activities that include gym sessions, swimming and dancing classes. The most important aspect of this unique job is your enthusiasm and ability and create a positive rapport with the people we support in an environment where they are given every opportunity to achieve their goals.
