The Company:
Provides advanced high-precision manufacturing services from centres of excellence located in the UK and Poland. We are seeking a Deburr Operator to join our Deburr team based at our Glasgow facility.
The Role:
In this role, you would be responsible for the finishing and preparation of metal components by removing burrs, sharps edges, and other imperfections using a variety of hand and power tools. To ensure parts meet quality standards and customer specifications prior to final assembly or shipping.
Key Responsibilities:
o Inspect parts for burrs, sharp edges, and other surface defects
o Operate deburring tools such as hand files, sanders, grinders and rotary tools
o Follow blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards to ensure precise finishes
o Use microscopes or magnifiers for detailed deburring work when necessary
o Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area and equipment

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
o Educated to standard grade level
o Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
o Must be health & safety conscious
o Experience of working to high quality standards on precision components (desirable)
o Deburring experience preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
