Great opportunity to support the day-to-day trading of Sainsbury’s with future progression into a National Account Executive (NAE) OR National Account Manager (NAM) role. As Commercial Executive for a for an established multi-site food manufacturer you will report directly into the Customer Controller. In this role you’ll be supporting a Senior NAM and the Customer Controller by maximising sustainable profitable growth across branded and retail own label products for the Sainsbury’s account. My client is one of the UK’s leading food companies who produce high quality products across a range of categories for well-known brands and private label products. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to progress your career into a NAE/ NAM position. On a daily basis, you will create various promotional and sales reports, analyse and review market data, compare customer EPOS data, evaluate the product categories, complete new product development administration and work cross-functionally both internally and externally where required. To be considered for this role you’ll need experience of working within the UK Food Manufacturing or the FMCG sector with a proven track record of managing joint business plans, administration, and providing customer support or customer service that builds customer/supplier relationships and ensures that business plans are achieved. You’ll need sales/commercial experience with an emphasis on cross-functional working and project management as well as a broad knowledge of product and process. You’ll enjoy working in a fast-moving environment and be able to build strong relationships both internally and externally. A strong competency of Excel and PowerPoint software is also required. This is a remote working role with a weekly visit to their head office in East Anglia and national travel as required.
