We are looking to appoint a motivated and inspirational leader to support our skilled and devoted teaching team in delivering the school’s bespoke curriculum and strong ethos of Christian values, through which we are passionate that every child should believe, grow and shine.

What you will do
Through professional leadership and management of the school the new headteacher will need to develop the existing strengths of the school, believe that good quality teaching comes through its people whilst upholding that there is always room to build on, expand and improve, and maintain the family feel of the school that we treasure. You will ensure that every decision is made with the children’s well-being and best interests at heart.
We are looking for someone who:
* is passionate about teaching and learning with an open mind on the latest research into progressive teaching techniques to keep the school’s approach inspirational for children of all abilities
* has a deep understanding of how to support pupils with a range of needs and is committed to inclusive education
* has experience of teaching across all primary ages, plus senior leadership with a track record of setting up and running whole-school projects
* will be confident in directing a team of experienced teachers
* has excellent interpersonal skills, delegating where appropriate to maximise skillsets while ensuring inclusion and support for all
* has a flexible, outside-the-box mindset in a busy environment
* has a strong commitment to safeguarding and the promotion of welfare of children, and the ability to instil this in their team with a robust monitoring and reporting system

* will embrace the school’s bespoke ‘Journey of Discovery’ curriculum and equip children with future-learning skills and cultural capital
* will share the school’s Christian values and nurture the relationship with the local church
* will recognise staff as the best resource and promote inclusive, supportive learning environments
* is an approachable, pro-active role-model with a growth mindset, a sense of humour and a calm, caring nature
