Role Responsibility: LIFECYCLE PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum Working hours: Monday - Friday Location: Home based Excellent Company benefits including Contributory Pension G4S Facilities Management is looking for a full-time, home based Lifecycle Procurement Specialist, to join our procurement team This role will lead the implementation of supplier sourcing and performance management strategies to deliver measurable improvements in compliance and overall business value. This involves close collaboration with business units and key stakeholders to align organizational needs with procurement objectives Key responsibilities: Oversee and optimise Lifecycle Services supplier performance, fostering continuous improvement and recommending supplier changes when necessary. Ensure all projects adhere to procurement governance and are managed using designated systems. Act as the expert and primary Procurement contact for your assigned area, seen as a seasoned professional by stakeholders. Exhibit strong stakeholder management skills, confidently building effective relationships across all levels. Maintain an in-depth understanding of all legislation impacting the Lifecycle supply chain. Provide leadership in managing and implementing Lifecycle supply contracts. Maximize procurement leverage through structured supplier rationalization and consolidation. Ensure full contractual and legal compliance, verifying suppliers meet all conditions and legislative requirements, including risk assessments. Conduct regular market testing and benchmarking to ensure market competitiveness, value for money, and best practice. Escalate issues to the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain - FM or operational stakeholders as appropriate. The Ideal Candidate: To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who - Has proven expertise in sourcing, procurement, and contract management, with 3-5 years of demonstrable experience. Has relevant sector experience (FM, M&E, Services). Has a strong understanding of commercial and operational requirements, capable of presenting them authoritatively. Has good organisational skills. Solid technical procurement skills, including the ability to write and manage compliant tenders, and negotiate and develop contracts with managerial support.
