FP&A Analyst | PE-Backed CleanTech | London | Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £70,000–£75,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits.
I’m partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed CleanTech business that is scaling rapidly through organic growth and acquisitions. They are looking to hire an FP&A Analyst into their central finance team in London.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded, technically strong ACA, ACCA, or CIMA-qualified accountant to gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and acquisition analysis in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the FP&A function in producing budgets, rolling forecasts, and scenario analysis.
* Prepare weekly and monthly management reporting packs, ensuring alignment with management accounts.
* Analyse operational performance metrics (e.g., recycling rate, cost per tonne, driver utilisation) to provide actionable insights.
* Support M&A activity by reviewing completion accounts, analysing potential synergies, and updating post‑acquisition models.
* Contribute to improvements in finance processes, reporting systems, and internal controls.
* Produce ESG‑related reporting, including carbon emissions and impact metrics, for board packs and internal stakeholders.
What they’re looking for
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA-qualified.
* Strong FP&A, financial modelling, and business partnering experience.
* Experience in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity, PE‑backed environment.
* Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI; familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite, MS Dynamics, or similar) advantageous.
* Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
* Comfortable supporting operational growth and post‑acquisition integration.
