My client, a leading corporate and commercial law firm, is looking for an Early Careers Development Advisor to join its Early Careers Development team in London. This role is one of two Advisor positions and offers end‑to‑end ownership of defined trainee, future trainee and, over time, solicitor apprentice processes.
Working closely with the Early Careers Development Manager, you will deliver both operational excellence and people advisory support across the trainee lifecycle, ensuring a consistently high‑quality experience for early careers talent and key stakeholders.
The role
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing core trainee and future trainee lifecycle processes, including induction, performance reviews, seat rotations, overseas secondments and qualification
* Providing day‑to‑day advisory support to trainees and future trainees, including wellbeing, development and performance matters
* Supporting SQE, training contract and solicitor apprenticeship pathways
* Designing and delivering trainee engagement activities, events and induction programmes
* Building strong relationships with partners, supervisors, HR colleagues and external stakeholders including the SRA
* Ensuring accurate documentation, data management and compliance with regulatory and firm requirements
* Contributing to process improvement initiatives and wider Early Careers projects
About you
You will be an experienced early careers or HR professional with strong organisational and stakeholder management skills. Confident, collaborative and detail‑focused, you’ll enjoy supporting the development of early careers talent and delivering a high standard of service in a fast‑paced professional services environment.
