Job Opportunity: Planning Solicitor
Location: Glasgow
Overview:
We are looking for a Planning‑law Solicitor to join a busy team advising on a broad range of planning and development matters. The role offers exposure to a mixture of planning projects, with opportunities to work across contentious and non‑contentious assignments depending on experience and interest.
Role Requirements:

* Advise clients on planning and environmental law matters, including planning applications, consents, agreements and related regulatory issues
* Handle planning‑related processes such as planning obligations, compulsory purchases, appeals, reviews and development‑consent matters where required
* Manage a personal caseload with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of client service
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across practice areas and contribute to team projects and client work

Experience:

* A minimum of 1 year PQE
* Experience or interest in planning, environmental, infrastructure or property‑development matters preferred
* Comfortable with both advisory and, where relevant, litigation or procedural aspects of planning law
