In this HGV Class 1 Driver job in Cardiff, you will play a key role in ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include:
5. Safely operating the vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
6. Assisting with loading and unloading of goods where required
7. Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
8. Adhering to company policies and procedures regarding safety, delivery protocols, and customer service
This HGV Class 1 Driver job in Cardiff offers two working schedule options:
Option 1:
9. Week 1: Monday to Saturday (Tuesday off)
10. Week 2: Tuesday to Saturday
Option 2:
11. Week 1: Tuesday to Saturday
12. Week 2: Monday to Saturday (Tuesday off)
Pay Rates:
13. Hours between 06:00 – 18:00: £19.24 per hour
14. Hours between 18:00 – 22:00: £22.13 per hour
15. Hours between 22:00 – 06:00: £24.05 per hour
16. Overtime (after 48 hours): £28.86 per hour

About you
To be considered for this HGV Class 1 Driver job in Cardiff, applicants must meet the following criteria:
17. Valid and in-date CPC
18. No more than 6 points on licence
19. Physically fit and able, as there is some manual work involved in loading and unloading
20. Minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Class 1 driver
