Driver's Mate
Monday - Friday: 6am starts
£12.21 per hour
People Solutions are currently looking for experienced Driver's Mates to join our well-established client based in Northamptonshire
This will initially be a temporary role, working Monday - Friday, starting at 6am
Shift times can vary between 8 - 10 hours (depending on delivery routes) and the starting hourly rate will be £12.21

Day to Day Duties
Driver's Mates will be required to perform the following duties:
* Assist van driver with removal of goods from vehicle into customer's homes
* Assisting fitters
* Assembling furniture
* Using power tools
* Any other reasonable duties as per Manager/Supervisor request
Essential Skills
To be considered for this Driver's Mate role, candidates must have the following:
* Previous experience as a Driver's Mate (preferably delivering heavy items)
* Be Physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy items
* Comfortable working ten hour shifts (if required)
* Driving Licence Essential
Training
* Manual handling training provided by client
