We are looking for someone who demonstrates leadership, safeguarding knowledge and a commitment to supporting children and young people.
Responsibilities
* Using life skills to help children build self-esteem, self-acceptance and progress toward adulthood; create positive relationships and safeguard at all times.
* Engage with a variety of children and young people, including those who may require high levels of supervision and support.
* In this leadership role, supervise staff, lead shifts, manage policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments, plan rotas, and ensure placement plans are followed with education supported.
* Ensure the welfare and care of each child and provide guidance and support to all residential workers.
Qualifications
* 22 years of age or above (to meet Ofsted regulations).
* NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People Workforce.
* At least 2 years of experience within residential childcare and working with young people.
* Valid manual driving license.

* £50 per sleep-in.
* Passport to Manage training allows you to gain your Level 5 for clear management progression.
* Bonus opportunities: £100 for achieving a ‘Good’ Ofsted outcome for the home and £200 for achieving ‘Outstanding’.
* Service awards: £200 (2 years), £400 (5 years) and £600 (10 years), plus up to £500 special recognition for outstanding practice.
* Holidays: 224 hours, gradually increasing to 248 hours after 4 years of service.
