More about your role
We are looking for a Homeless Support Worker to join our team in Bristol and the surrounding areas to work across our new Bristol low support service. In this role, you will support the continued, safe provision of accommodation for vulnerable customers in our supported living accommodations.
You will work closely with our customers to develop, deliver, and coordinate housing and intensive housing management services for vulnerable people living in temporary dispersed accommodation across the area.
The role involves working with customers, Group employees, outside agencies, and professionals to deliver a holistic, high-standard service. You will play a key role in signing up new customers and providing advice and guidance on welfare and benefits. You will also be responsible for maintaining the scheme, including conducting risk assessments and health and safety monitoring, as well as collaborating with the housing management team regarding repairs, voids, and maintenance.
Please note that you will work 36.25 hours per week over a 5-day period. This position is subject to a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service, and all offers of employment are contingent upon receiving two satisfactory references.
