Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Volunteering & Community Officer to join the team at Belton. You will work with the wider team to deliver Belton’s community connections plan and long-term community ambition. Belton is one of the busiest properties in the National Trust, welcoming over 400,000 visitors per year. With over 450 volunteers, you’ll work alongside all departments to provide a consistent and engaging volunteering experience.
Working with the community, collaborators and funders, you’ll deliver the various engagement projects that make up Belton’s community connections plan, as well as develop the recently reacquired Grantham House into a Community hub for the town of Grantham. Another key area of delivery will be Belton’s community festival which will be held in September. Other focuses include our partnership project with the Woodland Trust, continuing to develop volunteering across site, as well as to further grow our engagement with young people.
