SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant – CF5 – January Start
A warm and welcoming primary school in the CF5 area is looking for a caring, reliable and proactive SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team from January. This is a long-term position until the end of the academic year, with the potential to continue for the right person.
In this role, you’ll be working one-to-one with a pupil who needs additional support throughout the school day. The school is incredibly supportive and has a lovely, community feel — perfect for someone who enjoys getting involved and making a genuine impact.
What the school is looking for:
* Experience supporting children in any setting (school, nursery, coaching, youth groups, etc.)
* A calm, nurturing and patient approach
* Someone who’s happy to get stuck in and adapt to the child’s needs
* Confidence with learning support and emotional/behavioural guidance
* Eagerness to learn and take direction from the SENCO and class teacher
The role includes:
* 1:1 support throughout lessons and transitions
* Helping the pupil access learning and stay engaged
* Using strategies and guidance from the SENCO/class teacher
* Working closely with a supportive, friendly staff team

* Pay: £89.38 per day, paid every Friday
Requirements:
* DBS on the Update Service (we can help you apply if needed)
* EWC registration (support provided)
* Safeguarding training (we can also assist)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
