The Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and organised Stores / Stock Controller to join a busy and growing operation based in Radcliffe, Bury. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse or engineering environment.
You will be responsible for managing stock levels, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring materials and parts are available when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing incoming and outgoing stock
* Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock control systems
* Receiving deliveries and checking goods against purchase orders
* Organising and maintaining the stores area
* Issuing parts and materials to production or engineering teams
* Conducting regular stock counts and stock reconciliation
* Liaising with purchasing and suppliers regarding stock levels
* Ensuring the stores area is kept clean, safe and organised
Requirements
* Previous experience in a Stores, Stock Control, or Warehouse role
* Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
* Experience using inventory or ERP systems
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
