An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Complex care Support Worker for an adult male with brain and spinal injuries living in the Long Sutton area.
Enthusiastic and experienced bank support worker/s required to join a small friendly team providing 2 to 1 care. The client has complex needs and is a full-time wheelchair user who suffered a road traffic accident resulting in a brain and spinal injuries. He requires support with all aspects of his care.
The bank support worker will be required to cover shifts as required, staff holidays and sickness. They should be flexible and willing to deal with the day to day needs of the client. A variety of shifts are available to include days, sleep ins and weekends.
There will be induction shifts, full training and competencies.
We will also require maternity leave cover from February 2026 for the following shift pattern.
Working hours:
Week 1 - 2 days and 1 sleep on week 1 (Tuesday day, Wednesday day and sleep)
Week 2 - 4 days and 1 sleep (Tuesday day and sleep, Wednesday day, Friday day, Saturday day)
The sleep in is :300am, with care hours the following morning 07:30am-
10:00am.
Rates of pay:
Weekdays: £13.79 per hour
Weekends: £15.91 per hour
Bank holiday £27.58 per hour
Sleep-in rate: £ pm to 7.30am)
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring.
A full driving licence is essential.
