We're looking for a Content Editor to join us at Confused.com, you’ll be the go-to person for brand tone of voice, acting as a guardian for all insurances content written. That includes working with teams across the business to ensure that content we produce is human, helpful, and on brand.
What you'll be doing:
* Supporting RVU brands (Confused.com, Uswitch, money.co.uk) in creating high-quality annual insurance content.
* Working closely with SEO to create content that applies EEAT principles and is discoverable.
* Managing, editing, and building pages within our CMS to ensure content is up-to-date and easy to navigate.
* Developing engaging email content.
* Collaborating with the PR team to increase visibility and drive engagement.
* Collaborating with product and design to craft UX friendly copy.
* Testing and exploring new content formats including video, tools and rich media.
What we're looking for
Essentials:
* Experience writing digital content across websites, email, and editorial.
* A keen sense of what makes content engaging.
* Familiarity with using CMS platforms or willingness to learn
* SEO experience, with the ability to write content that works for people and search engines.
* Comfortable working on multiple content projects and delivering to deadlines.
* A collaborative, proactive mindset with a focus on improving how we do things.
* Basic understanding of content performance metrics.
Desirables:
* Basic understanding of compliance in financial content
* Insurance related content editing experience
