Job Description
Form an integral part of a team within the Architecture and Asset Planning Section of a multi-disciplinary professional Design Services Unit, providing a range of architectural and related services in relation to the delivery of the Council's property related programmes, in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Facilities and Property Management Service Plan and the Community Plan.

The Individual
This is a full-time permanent position. The administrative base for this post is The Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock. The hours of work are 35 per week. Normal office hours are Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
This is a progressive graded post, with the following grades: Grade GC £25,953 - £27,173, Grade G7 £30,176 - £32,287, Grade G9 £36,455 - £39,985. The level of participation and grade will depend on the relevant experience and/or qualifications of the candidate. Grade progression is subject to annual performance review and qualifications attained.
The workstyle for this post is mobile, with 20-49% of work time spent in an office or other work location. Employees will work at their administrative base or another agreed location between 1 to 2.5 days per week, with the remainder working from home or other locations as required.
