Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking an Adult’s Team Manager to join their Domestic Violence Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
* Lead the operational management of the Independent Domestic Violence Advisory Service (IDVA) and coordinate adult social care involvement in MARAC across Manchester.
* Foster a positive, inclusive team culture and support effective integrated working to achieve team and service goals.
* Develop and maintain robust policies and procedures related to Domestic Abuse and Adult Safeguarding.
* Identify emerging themes of harm within Manchester’s communities and promote best practice models of intervention.
* Work in close partnership with voluntary sector organisations supporting individuals affected by domestic abuse.
* Collaborate with the Adult Safeguarding Practice Lead to coordinate representation within MAPPA for high-risk survivors and perpetrators.
* Ensure MARAC and MAPPA responses align with statutory duties under the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Domestic Abuse Act 2021.
* Provide professional guidance, support Domestic Homicide Reviews, and contribute to wider safeguarding functions across Adult Social Care and the Manchester Safeguarding Partnership.
Requirements of this role:
* Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
* Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
