About the Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in providing day‑to‑day care, stability, and emotional support within a children’s residential home in Ollerton.
This is a low‑risk, nurturing setting, with a focus on routines, emotional wellbeing, and positive development. It is not an environment characterised by frequent aggressive behaviours.
Key Responsibilities
-Provide high‑quality, child‑centred care on a daily basis
-Support the development and delivery of individual care plans
-Build positive, consistent, and nurturing relationships with the young person
-Encourage independence, emotional wellbeing, and personal growth
-Work collaboratively with senior staff, managers, and external professionals
Salary, Hours & Benefits
* Salary: £30,500 – £32,500 per year
* Regular working patterns to support work–life balance
* Fully funded training and qualifications (Level 3, 4, or 5)
* Clear progression routes into senior and management roles

What the Client Is Looking For
Preferred:
*QCF Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People
Also desirable:
*Experience within residential childcare (minimum 1 year preferred)
*Understanding of child development and safeguarding
*A full UK driving licence
