HGV Class 2 Driver with class 1 licence - Immediate start temp to per positionRole: HGV Class 2 Driver with occasional class 1 work (ideal for someone looking to gain Class 1 experience)Location: Welwyn Garden City / WembleyHGV Class 1/2 Pay Rate £19.00 increasing to £21.00 after 12 weeks plus overtime at time and a halfWorking Hours: 0800-16:45 Monday to Friday.Our client is a supplier of Mediterranean food products using temperature-controlled vehicles to stores in and around London. This role will be split between Welwyn Garden City and Wembley.HGV Class 2 Driver Responsibilities:- 80% Class 2 driving working with a drivers mate to carry out 10-12 store deliveries.- 1 day a week (Saturday) working out of Wembley doing class 1 work moving stock between locations- Carry out vehicle inspections at the start of each shift and report any faults to the line manager- Debrief at the end of each dayHGV Class 2 driver, essential requirements:- Full UK Licence category C with C+E entitlement- Valid CPC and digi tacho card- Over 25 due to insurance- At least 6 months experience driving a Class 2 Truck in the last 12 monthsPosition starts on May 2026.Skills RequiredHGV Class 2, HGV Class 1 Delivery,TPBN1_UKTJ
