Purpose of the Role
As a UK Volume Recruitment Executive, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that Merlin’s world‑class guest experience is powered by the right people — at the right time. You’ll manage large‑scale recruitment campaigns across the UK, filling hourly, seasonal, and entry‑level roles that bring the magic of Merlin to life every day. This role combines operational excellence, creative sourcing, and relationship‑building to deliver results in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.


Core Responsibilities

* Talent Acquisition & Sourcing Strategy
o Partner with department leaders to forecast and align on large‑scale staffing needs.
o Execute creative, targeted sourcing campaigns via job boards, social media, and community partnerships.
o Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for seasonal and hourly roles.
* Candidate Screening & Selection
o Conduct large‑volume screening, interviews, and assessments.
o Facilitate engaging group interviews and digital hiring campaigns (video or virtual).
o Match candidates to roles based on skills, interests, and availability.
* Candidate Experience & Engagement
o Maintain proactive communication throughout the candidate journey.
o Resolve questions or challenges quickly and thoughtfully.
o Create engagement strategies to minimize drop‑off and boost retention pre‑hire.
* Data Management & Recruitment Technology
o Use the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage candidate records and progress.
o Maintain accuracy and compliance in all documentation.
o Leverage automation and digital tools to improve speed, reporting, and communication.
* Recruitment Performance & Onboarding Support
o Track and report on recruitment metrics (time‑to‑fill, conversion, source effectiveness).
o Work closely with HR and Operations to ensure seamless onboarding.
o Adapt sourcing and process strategies based on data insights and business trends.


Key Partnerships

* Hiring Managers – Align on staffing needs, coordinate interviews, ensure timely hires.
* People Team – Support onboarding, compliance, and workforce alignment.
* Community Partners – Build diverse local talent pipelines.
* Candidates – Deliver an engaging, transparent, and positive recruitment experience.
* Recruitment Marketing Partners – Strengthen sourcing strategy and employer branding.


Qualifications & Experience

* Experience & Skills
o Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
o Strong background in high‑volume recruitment.
o Proven success managing large candidate pipelines.
o Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
o Tech‑savvy with ATS and recruitment automation tools.
o Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines in fast‑paced settings.

Pay Range

Compensation between GBP £24,309.50 per year – £26,500.00 per year.
