Salary: £50,000 - 60,000 per year Requirements: BEng/BSc and/or masters degree in an appropriate engineering, computer science, information systems or related subject. Knowledge of Sensor and Communication systems. Software engineering experience from R&D concept through to the full product development lifecycle. Familiarity with modern software architecture practices. Experience with scientific applications/DSP, including algorithm implementation. Capability in multiple programming languages and ability to switch between them rapidly, e.g. C++/C#/Python. Comfortable with modern agile development practices such as Scrum/Kanban. Proficient with modern software tooling, e.g. Gitlab, Git, VS Code. Responsibilities: Detailed design of components of the product software. Implementation and testing of software as part of an agile software team. Gaining understanding of existing system products and future development agendas.
