About the Role:
We are looking for a Grounds Assistant to join the team at Seaview Holiday Home Park.
This is a practical, hands-on role focused on maintaining the park’s outdoor areas to a high standard. You will support the day-to-day upkeep of the grounds, helping to ensure a clean, safe and well-presented environment for residents and guests.
Responsibilities include general grounds maintenance such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, litter picking, and ensuring all outdoor spaces remain tidy and welcoming.
This is a temporary full-time position, working 40 hours per week across variable days, including weekends and bank holidays.

About The Role
Role Responsibilities:
As a Grounds Maintenance Assistant, you will support the upkeep of the park’s outdoor areas, ensuring all grounds are maintained to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the maintenance of all landscaped areas across the park
* Carrying out grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming and edging
* Ensuring pathways, roads and communal outdoor areas are clean, safe and free from debris
* Assisting with planting, weeding and general horticultural tasks
* Maintaining park presentation, including litter picking and bin management
* Supporting seasonal tasks such as leaf clearance and winter preparation
* Assisting with basic checks and maintenance of grounds equipment and tools
* Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the relevant team members
* Supporting general park upkeep to ensure a welcoming environment for guests and owners
* Providing a high standard of customer service when interacting with guests
* Following all health and safety procedures and site standards
* Being aware of emergency procedures and responding appropriately where required

About You:
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Previous grounds maintenance or outdoor work experience (desirable but not essential)
* A practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn
* Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
* The ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
* A strong awareness of health and safety
* A full UK driving licence is preferred due to the use of on-site vehicles and equipment
