Our driver/lorry loader operators are experienced in delivering building materials, scaffolding, barrier blocks, and other bespoke loads, making sure they are safely loaded, transported, and unloaded, and are not classified as Dangerous Goods.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Class 2 Hiab Lorry Loader Driver based in Gatwick. The driver will be responsible for transporting, loading, and unloading various materials safely and efficiently. Day-to-day tasks include operating the Hiab lorry loader, adhering to DVLA regulations, FORS & ALLMI compliance, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Qualifications
* HGV Class B license
* Experience in truck driving and using a lorry loader
* Skills in unloading and handling materials safely
* Knowledge of DVLA regulations
* Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
* Ability to work independently
* Good physical condition
* Previous experience in the construction or merchant industry is a plus
