DESCRIPTION
Join a fast-paced Global Procurement Organization team focused on Amazon Operations. As part of the Site Procurement Operations Team, you will lead strategic Procurement projects for our internal Business Partners at local, regional, national, and European levels.
In this role, you will collaborate with Internal Amazon stakeholders, Procurement peers, and external vendors to procure value-adding solutions, acting as a strategic Business Partner within our logistics sites. Your responsibilities include driving continuous improvement, innovation, legal and supply risk mitigation, and sustainability initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
1. Understand business needs, analyze requirements, and make recommendations. Manage complex projects with high spend, risks, confidentiality, and tight deadlines across multiple sites.
2. Build effective stakeholder relationships, analyze scope, negotiate with vendors on costs and lead times for projects across various levels.
3. Utilize applications and systems for metrics, reporting, and data analysis, including supplier performance and risk assessment tools.
4. Lead the Site Procurement Operations Process from needs detection to contracting and follow-up, using tools like Coupa (ERP). Deliver complex RFI and RFQ processes across sites and countries.
5. Create and manage contractual agreements, ensuring vendor compliance and mastery of CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management).
6. Support procurement projects and initiatives at national and EU levels, collaborating with Global Procurement Teams and Finance.
7. Manage and govern Supplier Performance, ensuring high service levels and contract adherence. Lead meetings like MBR/QBR and oversee invoicing and payments processes.
8. Act as Subject Matter Expert for local categories, identifying savings opportunities, performing spend analysis, and supporting strategic planning.
9. Work with stakeholders to embed sustainability goals, reduce waste, and ensure CSR compliance. Contribute to EU-wide cross-functional initiatives.
10. Meet KPIs related to savings, financial metrics, sustainability, and compliance.
11. Ensure compliance with company policies, educate stakeholders, and lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
12. Serve as SME for large categories and potentially extend responsibilities to the EU scope.
13. Provide training to other Buyers on functional skills.

The Site Procurement Operations team collaborates closely with stakeholders and suppliers to support on-site procurement solutions, focusing on complex projects within our logistics sites.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related experience
* Relevant procurement experience
* Proficient in MS Office
* Experience in sourcing, contract management, or similar roles
* Negotiation and contract management skills
* Fluent in English and local language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Degree focused on Procurement or Supply Chain
* Experience in large, global, matrixed organizations
* CIPS/EIPM accreditation or similar
* Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Coupa
* Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
* Self-motivated, customer-centric, problem-solving abilities
