Description
What You Will Do:
1. Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation including operator manuals, service manuals, installation procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
2. Translate complex system designs into clear, user-friendly documentation.
3. Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and system architecture.
4. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, field service, and quality teams.
5. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) documentation.
6. Document developed structured troubleshooting procedures.
7. Maintain document control and revision tracking.
8. Continuously improve documentation usability.
Basic Qualifications:
9. Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or a related technical field.
10. 2-5 years of relevant experience of technical writing/communication in engineering or manufacturing.
11. Ability to use computers and software applications to assist in job execution
12. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
13. Strong documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
14. Experience producing technical documentation relating to mechanical systems, electrical systems, and software.
15. Familiarity with imaging performance standards (e.g. ANSI N42.46).
16. Experience safely working in fast-paced environments around heavy machinery (e.g. forklifts, gantry cranes, etc).
17. Ability to travel. Occasional travel may be required for field testing and customer support.
