Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Inverness, Inverness-Shire. This is a locum position available immediately on a short-term contract.
Responsibilities
1. Provide high-quality patient care on the General Adult Psychiatry Ward.
2. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
3. Maintain compliance with the Mental Health Act (MHA) and the Ministry of Justice.
4. Assess patients under the MHA, make recommendations, and act as Responsible Clinician (RC).
5. Ensure all legal obligations are met, including Section 12 and Approved Clinician (AC) approvals.
Qualifications and Experience
* Full GMC license to practice.
* Section 12 approval.
* Approved Clinician (AC) status.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
