As a member of the Executive Team, you’ll play a key role in delivering mission-critical services for our fleet of satellites and ensuring our customers achieve their goals — from Earth observation to lunar communications and beyond.
This will provide the opportunity to lead on a range of missions from high-resolution Earth imaging and satellite-based communications to scientific discovery and navigation — and now, we’re looking for a leader to take Satellite Services to the next level.
Responsibilities:
As Satellite Services Director, you’ll lead all operations across our satellite fleet, ensuring service excellence under contractual and internal commitments. You will:
* Own the end-to-end delivery of satellite services, ensuring On Time, On Quality, On Cost (OTOQOC) performance.
* Be the voice of operations on the Executive Team, helping steer overall business strategy.
* Lead and evolve a customer-centric, ITIL-based service model.
* Oversee spacecraft operations, ground segment systems, and supporting teams.
* Act as a senior escalation point for service delivery and customer relationship management.
* Drive team performance and capability planning to meet project and customer needs.
* Identify and capture revenue growth opportunities within service contracts.
* Define and deliver a long-term Satellite Service Roadmap aligned with future market needs.
Qualification, skills & experience:
We’re looking for a visionary leader who thrives on operational excellence, inspires teams, and has a strong technical foundation. You’ll likely have:
* Proven background in complex service delivery, ideally in the satellite, aerospace, or engineering sectors.
* Executive-level leadership and strategic planning experience.
* Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and interacting with high-level customers.
* A strong track record across the full-service lifecycle, from bidding to service closure.
* Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant technical or engineering field.
* Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Commercial acumen and understanding of contracts and service-level obligations.
* High energy, results-oriented approach with strong planning and decision-making capabilities.
* Able to multitask, lead under pressure, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with tools such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
