Our London region CTAC team is a fast-growing part of our Tax practice with a diverse client base, including PE-backed, owner-managed, family businesses, UK listed companies, and multinationals.
Working in our successful CTAC business provides opportunities to develop client relationships, manage the tax compliance process, and engage in advisory projects such as business reorganisations, tax authority enquiries, pre/post-transaction reorganisations, refinancing, cash repatriation, interest deductibility, and the impact of global fiscal changes (e.g., BEPS Pillar 2).
The Role
This exciting position is within our London region Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance team, based in our CSQ office. We serve as a region comprising five other offices.
The successful candidate will build strong relationships, develop junior staff, deliver excellent client service, and identify business development opportunities.
* Responsibilities
- Be market-facing with assigned clients and target organizations.
- Liaise with the client service team and colleagues across tax, audit, and accounting disciplines to provide coordinated service.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify new business leads.
- Keep clients informed about developments in corporate tax that may affect their businesses.
- Engage with stakeholders and introduce relevant specialists from across the firm.
- Lead by example in client relationships, technical quality, and service delivery.
- Promote team and personal profiles within internal networks to foster collaboration and generate internal leads.
- Participate in business development and proposal activities.
- Manage engagement quality, risk processes, and client financials.
- Act as a role model for KPMG's values.
- Manage teams, coach, and develop staff.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong educational background (preferably 2:1 or higher University degree).
- ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification with solid corporate tax and accounting knowledge.
