Responsibilities
* Supervise students in the absence of their regular teacher and deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to ensure students remain on task.
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Provide support and assistance to students where necessary.
* Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of students.
* Report back to the regular teacher on the progress of the class.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage a classroom environment effectively.
* High level of organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
* Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team; flexibility and adaptability to changing needs of the school.
* While relevant qualifications are an advantage, experience is valued and prioritised.
