Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias
£43,050 + Overtime (realistic earnings significantly higher)
Double Days – 44 hours per week
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a forward-thinking manufacturer offering fantastic earning potential, career growth, and a supportive working environment.
This role is ideal for a Level 3 qualified, multi-skilled engineer with proven experience in a manufacturing environment. You will be working in a very industrial setting, where safety, reliability, and continuous improvement are key.
The Role
1. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of heavy industrial plant, machinery, and facilities.
2. Supporting preventative maintenance strategies to maximise performance, availability, and product quality.
3. Working safely and collaboratively across teams to deliver continuous improvement.
4. Playing a key part in keeping the site running smoothly and efficiently.
Shift Pattern – Double Days
5. Week 1: Monday – Thursday 6am–4.30pm, Friday 6am–4pm
6. Week 2: Monday – Thursday 12pm–10pm, Fridays off
This is a 44-hour contract with regular overtime opportunities paid at time and a half or double time. Many engineers choose to pick up additional Friday shifts, boosting their earnings well beyond the basic salary.
About You
7. Level 3 qualified, electrically biased engineer with strong mechanical skills.
8. Previous experience as a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer within a relevant manufacturing/industrial environment.
9. Strong focus on safety, reliability, and quality.
10. A proactive problem-solver who enjoys working as part of a team.
