Workshop Technician – St Albans
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Technician to join our team based in St Albans.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm (including a 1-hour lunch break)
Employment Type
Full-time – Temporary to Permanent, with contract or permanent options available
Salary
£25,000 – £27,500 per annum (dependent on experience)
Due to the location and working hours, access to your own vehicle is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble cable assemblies, electronic sub-assemblies, and equipment cases
* Solder cable assemblies, connectors, and printed circuit boards (PCBs)
* Carry out mechanical assembly of monitoring equipment and systems
* Test and configure electrical and electronic monitoring equipment
* Repair electrical and electronic monitoring equipment as required
* Monitor stock levels of critical components and parts
* Support production with bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and documentation
* Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment

Desirable Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in electronics assembly, soldering, or a similar technical role
* Basic understanding of electronic components and equipment
