Experience integrating diverse data sources and systems (databases, APIs, cloud services). Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance principles. Proficiency in Java and SQL; familiarity with C#, Scala, or scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) is a plus. Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux (RHEL), and virtualisation tools (VMware, Citrix). Responsibilities: Designing, developing, and maintaining robust, secure, and scalable data pipelines using Apache NiFi and related technologies. Troubleshooting, optimising, and maintaining NiFi flows — addressing performance, error handling, and throughput challenges. Integrating NiFi with cloud platforms, SQL/NoSQL databases, APIs, and third-party systems. Ensuring data infrastructure adheres to strict security and compliance standards. Supporting data migrations and implementing disaster recovery strategies. Monitoring data infrastructure performance and recommending continual improvements. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align platform capabilities with business and regulatory needs. Producing documentation to ensure operational transparency and knowledge sharing.
