This is a fantastic opportunity to support individuals across the Amber Valley and Dales area who are on their journey of recovery from drug and alcohol use. In the role As a Recovery Connector, you’ll gain structured training, coaching, and hands-on experience to develop your skills while making a real difference in people’s lives. You’ll work closely with: Recovery Connector Workers Drug and Alcohol Key Workers Lived Experience Career CoordinatorKey responsibilities include: Connecting individuals to community groups, mutual aid meetings, and structured activities Supporting group sessions (in person and online) Attending appointments with service users to help reduce barriers and build confidence Contributing to recovery planning and harm reduction initiatives Promoting positive change and visible recovery within the communityA full job description is available – please ensure you review this when completing your application. About You We are looking for someone who is: Passionate about recovery and helping others Motivating, proactive, and supportive A strong communicator with good written and IT skills (Excel essential) Able to travel across the High Peak area (full driving licence and access to a vehicle required)Whether you bring personal or professional experience of substance use, or you’re simply motivated to support others, we’d love to hear from you. Pay & Benefits Umbrella rate: £23.50 per hour PAYE (inclusive): £21.00 per hour PAYE (exclusive): £18.75 per hourYou’ll receive all the support you need to succeed in your role and thrive as part of a collaborative and passionate team.
