What the Job Involves As an Assistant Team Manager, you will report to the Team Manager and support the operations of the Mental Health Social Care Team. Your responsibilities include recruitment, retention, workload allocation, and the provision of ongoing supervision to maintain high casework standards. You will act as a manager in the Duty Manager rota, handling safeguarding enquiries and supervising social workers. You will also be involved in reviewing complex cases, ensuring cost-effectiveness of commissioned services, managing hospital discharges, and co-producing service improvements with stakeholders.
