Overview

HCPC Registered Psychologist - Autism/ ADHD Assessor role at Evolve Psychology Services. Join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based autism and ADHD assessments through NHS-funded and private pathways. The Norwich team is hybrid with part-time and full-time options and a minimum of three days per week.


Responsibilities

* Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment process.
* Conduct remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom.
* Participate in peer MDT diagnostic discussions, with senior clinician support where needed.
* Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families.
* Produce accurate clinical reports including diagnostic formulations, with the aid of AI-assisted tools.
* Work efficiently to meet service KPIs.
* Provide clinical supervision where applicable.
* Assist with additional duties such as consultation to colleagues, quality checking reports, and service development projects.
* Able to travel to a clinic base to conduct in-person assessments (hybrid role).

Qualifications and experience

* Must hold HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (e.g., Clinical, Counselling, or Educational).
* Minimum of 1 year experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people.
* Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations.
* In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism and ADHD.
* Trained in diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, etc.
* Effective time management and caseload organisation; ability to meet clinical deadlines.
* Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and participate in collaborative diagnostic discussions.
* Strong written language skills for high-quality clinical reports and clear communication with families.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK.
