Job Description
Summary:
Ensure the proper and timely movement of freight and information, while providing an exceptional customer service within the Distribution department.
Tasks and Duties:

1. Daily process and input of all customer orders and distribution accounts.
2. Provide daily operational reports that are accurate and timely.
3. Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer work orders, checks all orders for special requests and posts inventory records.
4. Perform accurate and timely data entry for receiving, order allocation, shipping and inventory management.
5. Rate domestic transportation bills.
6. Trace orders as required and notifies customers of any activity concerning their order.
7. Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing.
8. Maintain damage records and backorder logs.
9. Provide warehouse staff with necessary documents and information needed to complete receiving, and to ship orders.
10. Act as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in administration of accounts and between the office and customer regarding invoicing and credit information.
11. Maintain strong relationships with vendors (trucking companies, and others).
12. Provide support with other miscellaneous projects, filing and research
13. Compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer policies / requirements.
14. Escalation of problems to Management when necessary.

Qualifications
Understanding transportation process of all models is a plus
18. Hazardous Materials certification (preferred)
19. Good computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)
20. 6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
21. Meet company standards of 52 hours training per year, including as needed management/leadership training
22. Excellent organizational skills, time management skills in addition to a professional manner
23. Positive and willing to help attitude
24. Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely obtain positive results
