We are seeking a committed Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at a specialised SEMH school in Scunthorpe. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who require tailored support to help them engage with education and reach their full potential. About the Role: Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, focusing on behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing. Help implement behaviour management strategies and individual support plans. Assist the class teacher with the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities. Build trusting, professional relationships with students to promote a positive learning environment. Work collaboratively with SENCOs, pastoral teams, and external agencies. Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour. Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, confident approach. A caring, compassionate attitude and commitment to safeguarding. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
