About the Role The Administrative Support Officer (Planning and Council Secretariat) role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in starting or developing a career in university administration to gain experience as part of the team whose responsibility encompasses the breadth of the University’s activity. You will provide high-quality administrative support to the Governance team, helping to ensure the smooth operation of the University’s central governance structures. This includes supporting Council, its committees, and Congregation, and acting as a key point of contact for colleagues across the team. Working collaboratively with colleagues across PACS and the wider University, you will develop a strong understanding of governance processes and administrative systems. As your experience grows, there will be opportunities to broaden your involvement across the section, gaining exposure to a wide range of planning and governance activity and supporting the work of one of the world’s leading universities. About You
7. Experience providing administrative support in a busy office environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
8. Highly organised and detail-focused, with strong written communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
