About the Role:
* Deliver engaging and varied Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering music theory, history, composition, and performance.
* Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that cater to a range of musical interests and abilities.
* Assess student progress through practical performances, compositions, written work, and aural tests, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the vibrant extracurricular musical life of the school, including leading or assisting with school ensembles and choirs.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Music.
* A strong knowledge of music theory, history, and performance practices.
* Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* A passion for music and the ability to inspire a lifelong appreciation for the subject.
