A Day in the Life Due to the continued growth of the Affera™ Mapping System and Medtronic’s ongoing investment in the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) portfolio, we are seeking three dynamic individuals who are ready to take the next step in their careers and transition into leadership roles as Affera Regional Clinical Managers. In this role, you will lead a team of high-performing Affera Mapping Specialists within a defined geographic region. Your leadership, clinical expertise, and technical knowledge will be critical in supporting the successful adoption and launch of the Affera system and other electrophysiology technologies across the UK and Ireland. This role combines advanced technical expertise in cardiac mapping with strong people leadership capabilities, offering a highly rewarding and impactful opportunity. The Affera Regional Clinical Manager will report to the Affera Clinical Lead, NWE – Cardiac Ablation Solutions. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Provide expert clinical and technical support for cardiac mapping systems and Cardiac Ablation Solutions during procedures and customer engagements. Deliver training and education to physicians, hospital staff, and Medtronic colleagues to ensure safe and effective product use. Collaborate closely with regional sales teams to support national, regional, and territory sales objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders to drive adoption, utilization, and growth of the CAS portfolio. Lead, coach, and develop a team of Affera Mapping Specialists, including goal setting, performance management, and professional development. Ensure effective communication, conflict resolution, and adherence to regulatory, policy, and compliance requirements across the team. Required Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in electrophysiology, cardiac mapping, or navigation systems. The ideal candidate will be a Principal-Level Affera Mapping Specialist with at least 2 years of experience supporting the Affera Mapping System Proven ability to independently support complex electrophysiology procedures and hold a current Affera mentor certification or actively working toward certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships Proven capabilities in leadership, mentoring, communication, and conflict resolution. Willingness to travel as required to support business needs.
