Our client is a growing, UK & International, market-leading manufacturer requiring a Senior Buyer to join the Procurement function. Ideally, you will have gained experienced within fast-paced manufacturing operations, with a demonstrated track record of managing direct material spend categories and contract negotiation. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement regional strategies for direct category spend. Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable and long-term source of supply. Evaluate and select new suppliers in line with business needs. Identify cost saving opportunities and quality improvements. Manage Tender and RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes including creating necessary supporting documentation. Negotiate and agree Framework Agreements; Rebate Agreements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with Key Suppliers and evaluate existing contracts to ensure compliance with company policies. Resolve Supplier or product issues to meet price, delivery, and quality requirements.
