Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, including knowledge of landlord-tenant law, fair housing regulations, and experience with various property management software such as Landlord Vision. This role requires excellent customer service skills, conflict management abilities, and a proactive approach to property maintenance and leasing.
Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
* Oversee property leasing activities, including marketing available units, conducting showings, and processing applications.
* Maintain positive relationships with tenants by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
* Ensure properties are well-maintained by coordinating repairs and maintenance through effective facilities management.
* Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess condition and identify necessary improvements.
* Prepare and manage budgets for property operations, including overseeing expenditures related to maintenance and repairs.
* Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure quality services at competitive rates.
* Utilize property management software for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management.
* Uphold fair housing regulations while promoting an inclusive community environment.
* Implement upselling strategies to enhance tenant retention and satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in property management or a related field.
* Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, and fair housing regulations.
* Proficiency in property management software such as Landlord Vision is preferred.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts effectively.
* Strong negotiation skills with experience in contract management.
* Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to real estate is a plus.
* Ability to perform data entry accurately while maintaining organized records.
* Previous experience in facilities management or property maintenance is advantageous.
* Strong office experience with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
