Job Description
Home Instead East Nottingham is currently recruiting Part-Time Care Professionals, with the main demand in the Ruddington area. While most calls will be local to Ruddington,travel to other areas may be required.
You will provide high-quality care and companionship to clients in their own homes, including:
* Offering companionship and engaging in conversation
* Stimulating and encouraging clients through activities such as hobbies, crafts, and clothing selection
* Monitoring diet and eating (where required)
* Assisting with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, continence care, and eating and drinking
* Providing medication reminders and administering medication
* Supporting mobility, including assistance with walking
* Accompanying clients to appointments, social events, and outings
* Providing dementia and Alzheimer’s care
* Offering respite and convalescence care
* Running errands, collecting prescriptions, and helping with shopping
* Helping with travel arrangements and overseeing deliveries
* Performing light housekeeping tasks
* Planning, preparing, and clearing away meals
* Assisting with pet care and supervising home maintenance
Essential requirements
* A full UK driving licence with access to your own car
* Class 1 business insurance
* Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
