Our Client
Our client is a large, well-established organisation undergoing significant growth and modernisation. With a sizeable workforce and a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and service, they’re strengthening their payroll function and looking for a capable Payroll Officer who can hit the ground running.
Based in Melbourne’s north, this role offers a balanced hybrid model (3 days in office, 2 WFH) and the chance to join a supportive team where your expertise will have an immediate impact. This is an ongoing temporary assignment with potential to transition to permanent in the future.

* End‑to‑end payroll processing support across a large employee base
* Onboarding changes, contract updates and compliance checks
* Leave calculations and audits (annual, personal, LSL)
* Handling payroll queries with professionalism and a customer‑first mindset
* Ensuring compliance with Fair Work, ATO, superannuation and internal policies
* Assisting with reporting, data analysis and supporting Finance as required
* Maintaining accurate records, documentation and payroll administration
* Escalating system issues and supporting process improvement where needed
