Responsibilities
* Perform physically demanding construction duties.
* Work in adverse, inclement, and varying weather conditions.
* Use safety precautions and equipment when working around operating machinery.
* Follow written and oral instructions with minimal supervision.
* Service equipment by checking and maintaining fuel, oil, and other needs; clean equipment and vehicles; replace bulbs and filters.
* Maintain accurate records and logs.
* Load and unload heavy equipment.
* Understand and comply with US, state, and local DOT laws and regulations.
* Travel overnight 100% of the time.
Qualifications
* Valid Class CDL A license.
* Willingness to obtain Hazmat & Tanker endorsements.
* High School diploma or G.E.D.
* Compliance with all safety and training requirements.
* Familiarity with computers for permit acquisition and electronic logging.
* Strong verbal communication skills and teamwork ability.
* Experience in tractor/lowboy heavy hauling preferred.
* Availability to work on Saturdays and possibly Sundays.
* Ability to lift 50 lbs.
* Ability to pass a DOT drug screening.
